Bald Range Fire came on fast and fierce. We were able to get some animals out to safety as volunteers literally drove through fire and trees and poles falling around them and on the road.

Brian and neighboring men stayed behind to keep the animals and home at the sanctuary and the neighbors safe. We have been lucky that the animals, so far, have made it through but we are not out of the woods as the fire has remained unpredictable in the area and we will have a lot of damage to clean up and repair.

We will need vet care and extra vitamins & supplements, feed & hay, fencing for all pens, fuel to keep the water pumps and equipment running to ensure the animals stay safe and so much more.

Our sanctuary cares for more than 300 animals including horses, Miss Maggie the donkey, cows, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, quail, dogs and cats.

Our sanctuary is wholeheartedly devoted to the compassionate care of animals that often find themselves in unique and challenging situations. These are the animals that other rescues may not be able to adopt out due to factors such as age, complex medical care needs, or other concerns. We also provide safe homes for animals that may otherwise end up in meat trucks, have had unfortunate life circumstances leading to their surrender or just need a safe and loving retirement home.

We also provide a for animals that are in need of a temporary or furever home due to other unfortunate emergency situations such as evacuation, changes in their previous home environment, predator protection, or other circumstances.

At the heart of our mission is a deeply held belief that every single animal, regardless of their circumstances, deserves a forever home overflowing with love and unwavering care.

We are a registered charity and able to issue tax deductible receipts

MORE PICTURES WILL BE ADDED AS WE ARE ABLE TO GET BACK IN TO THE SANCTUARY.
