Thank you for taking the time to visit our page.
Balbir Saini needs our love, support, and prayers. On Monday July 20, Balbir, who is known by most by his nickname Bava, was found by his wife on his bed unconscious. She performed CPR on him and he was airlifted to John Hopkins University Hospital as the doctors realized he had a brain aneurysm. This was shockingly bad news to his family as Bava is only 46 years old and was in very good health. Later the doctors informed the family that Bava had two strokes and a heart attack, along with the brain aneurysm. The doctors have performed multiple hours long surgeries on Bava and now we are all hoping and praying that Bava will be able to recover, however the doctors are saying the prognosis is not good.
Bava’s has a loving wife Baljit, a son (Sameer, age 15) and a daughter (Simran, age 13). His family was always his biggest priority, and he worked hard and long hours as a Truck Driver to provide for them. Currently Bava is on a ventilator as he is unable to breathe on his own, and he is in a medically induced coma. To make matters worse, due to the COVID pandemic per the hospital’s rules, Bava’s kids are only able to see him virtually over videoconference, and an in-person visit is only allowed by his wife.
We are hoping and praying Bava is able to recover, however there is a long road ahead. We hope Bava is able to return to breathing and walking on his own, so he is able to continue having amazing experiences with his family. We wish for him what we all want for ourselves, to watch our children graduate from high school and begin college, and later have that first dance at our children’s wedding. Even in this optimistic outcome that he survives, it is very unlikely that Bava will ever be able to return to work to financially support his family.
We would like to support the Saini’s by fundraising for his medical assistance and financial assistance for his young family. Bava was the primary financial support for his family, and his wife works full time as a cashier at Arbys. She barely makes enough to pay for groceries with her income. Without his income, the family will struggle to meet the basic needs. They live in a small townhouse in Jessup which has a mortgage they can not afford without his income. This GoFundMe will help reduce the financial burden that the Saini family will be left with. No amount is too small and they will be grateful for anything you can contribute. Thank you for your support and well wishes.
Please share this post with your friends and family as we need all the help we can get.
Thank you.
