Hi, my name is Angie.
Baking has been my safe place. A few years ago, I went through one of the most painful and traumatic seasons of my life. In the middle of it all, I found myself in the kitchen — measuring, stirring, creating. Somewhere between the butter, sugar, and flour, I found a way to heal. Baking became more than recipes; it became therapy.
Today, I carry that same hope into the lives of others. I work at the Fisher House, where military families stay while their loved ones receive care. It’s an honor to serve them, and one of the ways I do that is through a little program I started called “Cookies with the Chaplain.” Every week I bring in cookies to share, sometimes paying out of my own pocket, because I’ve seen what something as small as a cookie can do — it breaks the ice, softens heavy hearts, and reminds people they’re not alone.
Now, I’m ready to take what baking has done for me and create something bigger: a pop-up bakery space. A place filled with warmth, color, and sweets that carry a story of resilience and joy.
The funds raised will go directly toward:
• Decorating and bringing the pop-up space to life
• Stocking it with baked goods and display items
• Purchasing the supplies and tools needed to keep things running
This isn’t just a business dream — it’s a chance to spread hope, one dessert at a time.
If you feel led to support, know that you’re not just helping me open a pop-up; you’re helping me continue a journey of healing, and hopefully sparking healing in others too.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
With love & gratitude,
Angie
