This little baking business has grown more than I ever imagined over the last few months. What started as something small and personal has turned into late nights filling orders, preparing for markets, creating custom treats for celebrations, and building a community that genuinely supports and believes in me. Seeing our views and orders take off lately has been the biggest reminder to keep going, and we’re officially only about $150 away from hitting our goal of $1,000 in sales for the year. As we get ready for our grand reopening market on May 23rd, I’ve been pouring everything I have into making this next chapter special. One of the biggest dreams I have for this business is not just to sell desserts, but to create something that gives back and brings comfort to people when they need it most. That’s why I’m so excited to launch the “Light a Candle, Pay It Forward” program — a way for this business to spread kindness through donated treats, surprise cakes, and supporting people and organizations in our community. This year, we’re also hoping to support a local girls sports team during their June tournament because I truly believe community support matters. Sometimes something as simple as a sweet treat can make someone feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. Every donation, share, order, and kind word helps more than I can explain.
