On Wednesday, June 7th, Owen Baker was struck in the head with a ball at his baseball game.
He was taken to a local hospital but had to be transported by helicopter to a "trauma" hospital. The doctors are holding off on surgery since he is not having neurological symptoms. They will be monitoring him closely over the next few days.
While he has shown some signs of improvement, there is no denying the road to recovery will be long and challenging.
Aside from prayers, I would like to ask for donations to go toward any medical expenses that they will encounter. Please consider donating what you can to a family who is always the first to help others in a time of need.
