Baker to Vegas 2023 Law Enforcement Run

Baker To Vegas 2024 is slowly approaching! Last year we were able to raise money by the help of family, friends, and our local community's support. We are asking for everyone's help and support for yet another successful year!

A group of Oklahoma City Law Enforcement Officers are raising money for the 2024 Challenge Cup/Baker to Vegas Relay which is truly a National and international event. This event is set to take place March 23 & 24, 2024. We are asking for sponsorships and donations to make this possible!

The Baker to Vegas Relay is the most “positive” event offered to Law Enforcement today. It gives them a reason to maintain a physical fitness program so as to help them better perform their daily duties. The original ideals of the race continue: teamwork, camaraderie, physical fitness and friendly competition. This event is considered the Super Bowl of all police competitions, drawing teams from around the world to compete.

The course begins 25 miles north of Baker, CA on highway 127 to Shoshone CA; then northeast on Highway 178, across the state line into Nevada on Highway 372 to Pahrump NV., then southeast on Highway 160 to the finish inside the Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino Pavilion in Las Vegas. 120 miles of pavement, 20 stages, over 8000 runners, guests, family members, and support staff. Hot days and cold nights. Blood. Sweat. Pride. Honor. That’s what the world’s most prestigious and unique Law Enforcement foot race is all about. The number of teams has grown 14-fold from the first 19 teams in 1985.

We believe in employee wellness and staying active and fit for our jobs, and bringing officers together creates a good working relationship among all.

All officers pay their own way, and they are hoping to raise $30,000 to help cover the costs. Any level of support is appreciated to help fund team travel, registration fees, and lodging during this 2-day event.
