As many of you know, the past few days have turned our world upside down. Scott suffered two basal ganglia strokes that landed him in the hospital. Thanks to persistence, testing and advocacy, we finally have answers and he’s now on the road to recovery — but it’s going to be a long one.

He will need ongoing medications, testing, and follow-up care to prevent another stroke. Unfortunately, this comes with a almost $3,500 out-of-pocket medical cost right away, on top of him being unable to work during recovery.
