Baja Orphanage 2019 Ride Fundraiser

This is our 5th year raising funds for the Rancho de los Niños Orphanage in Baja California. We have raised funds in past years towards a new greenhouse, adolescent girls building, hot water heaters, playground equipment, painted the entire orphanage and this year we hope to raise funds towards a homework space. Anything helps and the kids will be super grateful. All funds raised go towards the orphanage.
Some background:
I discovered this orphanage from a coworker several years ago. I wanted to do some volunteer work and wanted to see first hand where my money was going to be used. I visited the orphanage on my annual Baja ride and met Jorge, the orphanage director. Check out this video from 2015 : https://youtu.be/6d_yDBTqNiQ He is an inspiration. Since we begun our work with Jorge, they have faced additional pressure from several regional orphanages closing down. They have since absorbed infants and also teenage girls rescued from human trafficking. Help us break the cycle of poverty through supporting these kids get their education while being fed, loved and cared for.
