Baillies future

Hey guys!
I’m setting this page up for the bravest laddie I know, Baillie.

Baillie lost his dad to liver cancer, 10 years ago at 13 years old then very recently his beautiful mother Pauline passed away at just 55 years old leaving her 22 year son with no parents. The last few years have been awful for Baillie and Pauline, in 2020 Pauline was diagnosed with a rare case of Parkinson’s disease which made her lose her career, and lost her mobility within a year of her diagnosis. As of December 2022 Pauline was in and out of hospital and was diagnosed with the same horrible cancer that Baillie’s dad suffered from, secondary liver cancer. Pauline couldn’t have a transplant as she would need chemotherapy first to reduce the tumours but unfortunately there was more tumours than liver, and due to the weakness of her body she couldn’t undergo chemotherapy which only meant one thing, she had weeks to live, from her diagnosis of cancer the beautiful Pauline fought her hardest for 5 weeks. Due to Pauline’s death Baillie now has to leave his family home as it was an adapted house for his mum.

Over the last 3 years Baillie put his future on hold to become his mums full time carer, he cared for her 24 hours a day right up until her last breath with very little time for himself but he would never have anyone else do these things for her. I witnessed this young man do things for his mother that no man would ever think of having to do for their mum in their lifetime never mind from being a teenager, while doing all this for his mum he still managed to raise awareness and funds for Parkinson’s disease and continue to put a smile on everyone else’s face.

I know nothing will ever bring back his parents but I wanted to set up this page to raise some money to put towards his future, help out towards a deposit on a flat, his driving license, and just the things his mum and dad would of wanted him to do.
