BAILEYS FIGHT WITH EPILEPSY

Hi, I’m creating this go fund me for Bailey Wade! She would never ask for this kind of help but with her currently recovering from her 3rd Brain surgery she needs all the help.

Bailey has been battling Front Right Temporal Lobe Epilepsy since 4/19/18. This was 3 days before her 21st birthday! This disease is mentally and physically draining to Bailey. This disease is unpredictable causing Bailey to drown in debt from not being able to work consistently. Bailey has never hit her head, had a concussion or any type of brain injury to cause all of these seizures. No one at the age of 26 should be in and out of hospitals getting no answers because she’s a medical mystery.

Below is a paragraph Bailey has sent me to explain some of the things she has sent through:

I have Front Right Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. I’ve seen 3-4 different neurologist from OHSU, UW/Harborview Medical Center as well as two local neurologist initially. So I have a neuro team of 6-8 people that are working on my case specific and I donated my left over tissue to be used and studied to hopefully come up with a better treatment or maybe a cure down the line for other patients with similar history’s of mine and similar seizures coming from the same area of my brain. Never hit my head never had a concussion or traumatic brain injury I’m just a medical mystery. Nobody in my family either has epilepsy and SSA(Disability) doesn’t see me as disabled so I don’t get help from anyone. First surgery was 8/10/21 and second was 8/31/21 and those were both laser ablation surgeries where they went through the back of my head. Recovery was about 4-6 weeks total and the first surgery failed because the MRI machine broke with me in it and I left the hospital seizing. My first two seizures ever were the big granmal seizures in my sleep on 4/19/18. I also suffered from having over 30+ seizures a month before having my surgery initially. I also stop breathing in my sleep if I do have clusters of seizures that’s why it’s really important for me to be with Mark or my parents when I’m sick or recovering or having seizures. My first seizures after my first “completed” surgery wasn’t until 1/28/2022. I’m now recovering at my moms house in Vancouver so that my boyfriend Mark can work and take care of some of the house bills.

Bailey was going to school the last year to be a EEG tech and help people in the same situation as her. With having this last surgery it has pushed everything back and we don’t when she will be graduating now.

Even if you can’t donate money please pray for Baileys recovery ❤️‍
