Bailey's Cleft Palate Surgery
Donation protected
Hey everyone! My name is Bailey and I'm the cutest German Shorthaired Pointer you ever did see!
I was born with a very large cleft palate, which means there's a big 'ol hole between my mouth and my nasal cavity. Most dogs with my condition have frequent issues with infections, food and gunk getting stuck, and sometimes things accidentally make their way down into the lungs and cause BIG problems.
The folks that saved me realized that it is a TON of work taking care of my special needs, so they brought me to a rescue with an AMAZING foster family. We went on a loooong road trip to WSU and the doctors there told me that they could fix the roof of my mouth and make me good as new! That means I might not have any potential health problems in the future and I can live out my life like a regular, crazy GSP!
If you could help me get my surgery, I will love you forever and ever and ever! THANK YOU ALL!!!!
