My name is Bailey and I am hoping to summit Denali in May-June 2026. This journey is deeply personal for me—my mom and my aunt Laura both reached the summit, and their stories have inspired me for years. Last summer, I attempted the climb, but our group turned back due to high avalanche risk. Now, with renewed determination and the support of AAI (American Alpine Institute), I’m ready to try again.
I have completed 49/50 state high points and 42/50 state marathons. This year I hope to complete my two-fold state goal.
While I’m working to pay off my graduate school loans, I am balancing my passion for climbing with financial challenges. My dream is to stand on Denali’s summit when nature permits, honoring the legacy of those who came before me while pushing my own physical limits.
The costs of this expedition add up quickly—between equipment, travel, permits, and food, the expenses are significant ($12,700). Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to making this dream a reality. I’m incredibly grateful for any support you can offer, and I invite you to follow our journey on Instagram @50at4eleven. Thanks to Starlink, we’ll be able to share updates from the mountain at certain intervals. Thank you for believing in me and being part of the adventure!
