Update 1/25/23
Bailey continues to amaze us. She is doing better every single day. She wants to play outside in the sunshine again and roll around in the dirt. Her appetite is really good. Bailey has put on 1/2 a pound since Friday and her face has filled back in. Her eye looks great too! We have an appt on Friday to check her bloodwork to see how she’s tolerating this type of chemotherapy and we will go from there. Thank you to everyone that has taken the time to donate to Bailey’s vet care. We truly appreciate it.
Update:
Bailey started Chemotherapy yesterday after she had X-rays looked at and bloodwork done to make sure she was healthy enough to tolerate the Chemo. Her tests came back great. Today the swelling in her face is much smaller and she’s eating well. One day at a time!❤️
THANK YOU EVERYONE THAT HAS DONATED TO OUR FURRY KID. WE CANT STRESS HOW MUCH WE APPRECIATE YOU!!❤️❤️❤️
Hello, my name is Dawn and I’m doing this Go Fund Me to hopefully extend our shop kitty Bailey’s life as we got horrible news today and her test results were positive for Lymphoma. Bailey’s been with us over 14 years and she started out as a 100% feral kitty outside my work. I worked to earn her trust and after 8 months I got it. 4 years later and she decided to love everyone and so she moved in. She has been a part of our store now for years and years. Bailey is simply a part of us and our customers.
Our plan is to have a CT Scan to see how advanced this tumor is and if it is still at a treatable size we will start Chemotherapy. Bailey has had many vet visits in the last few months totally over $2000.00 and today we were told her scan will be over $2000.00 and her 8 week Chemotherapy will be right around $2000.00. We can’t get her In to the scan until the 30th so we want to start steroids right away to hopefully help shrink this tumor and although she has a good appetite, the steroids should help it a little more.
We are simply not ready to say goodbye to our spoiled girl and we will do what it takes to give her the best shot we can and it’s going to take a lot of help from everyone.
Thank you for any help!
