Bailey & Hannah Sherrill and Baby Weston

A healthy pregnancy turned into an unexpected early delivery for Weston Ray Sherrill. Weston was born on June 25th, at just 33 weeks, via emergency c-section. He was immediately rushed to NICU where it was discovered that he had Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) and was lifelined to Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. CDH is a condition where there is a hole in Weston's diaphragm, causing his intestines and liver to go up into his chest cavity and cause his right lung not to function or grow properly. He had surgery to repair the CDH, and is on the road to recovery. This condition is usually found during pregnancy, but in our case, it was missed. They did not anticipate nor have time to prepare for their stay at Riley, extended period of missing work, and mounting medical expenses.
