Hi,
My name is Alyssa Kuznieski. Justin (boyfriend) & I recently rescued a 3 year old black lab mix, Bailey.
What is heart worm you ask?
Heartworm disease is a serious disease that results in severe lung disease, heart failure, other organ damage, and death in pets, mainly dogs, cats, and ferrets. It is caused by a parasitic worm called Dirofilaria immitis. The worms are spread through the bite of a mosquito.
A little bit about Miss Bailey:
Bailey is so sweet and loving! She has the sweetest personality & loves to give hugs to everyone she meets!!
She was in the shelter for her whole life & just turned 3 years old. She was supposedly tested for heart worm but somehow it came back positive 2 weeks after getting her.
We do not have that kind of money to get her treated & if we do not take care of this she could pass away. We are getting so attached to her and do not want anything to happen to our sweet girl!!
Anything will help tremendously! Thank you so so much!!!
Alyssa & Justin
