My name is Jennifer, and I am raising funds for my husband's medical expenses. On July 28th Bradley and I were dropping off our kids for a weekend alone when he had a stroke in his cerebellum. He had another stroke the next day. That stroke caused a lot of damage to his brain stem. He needed to be intubated because he was unable to protect his airway. I was told that the stroke was significant and he might never improve. After many tests he was diagnosed with bacterial endocarditis… something that only affects 15 of 100,000 people. He has a mitral valve defect we didn’t know about until this. After getting on antibiotics he showed significant improvement!

He spent two weeks in the ICU, and was in rehab for three weeks before having a third stroke. He ended up back in the ICU for 6 days.

Unfortunately, the antibiotics didn't touch the infection on his heart valve. We are now going to be transferred to Plano, TX for a mitral valve replacement. Although the surgery is routine, he is at higher risk because of the recent strokes. We are asking for anything you feel called to donate to help with medical expenses, and hotel accommodations, food, etc.
