BAILEY IS OUR BELOVED DOG AND HE NEEDS HELP! HE IS 8 YEARS OLD AND I CONSIDER HIM ONE OF MY KIDS...

Unfortunately, Bailey jumped off my bed and injured one of his legs. He's been in a lot of pain, and I feel helpless not being able to get him the surgery he needs. We have seen two different veterinarians who tell me surgery is necessary in order to fix his leg, but  it's just  too expensive for me to afford.  For now he has been living on pain medication, but he's getting worse. He can't put weight on his leg, and he's developing an infection. My heart breaks for him, and I feel helpless.

I am a mother of 4 daughters and on disability. I have no extra money for an expensive surgery for our little guy. We do not want to give him up, and my girls are beside themselves with worry, as am I.  He is a big part of our family. We have been reaching out to rescues for support, but unfortunately they don't pay for the kind of surgery he needs. It was suggested by the vet for us to  start a Go Fund Me page, which we did almost 7 months ago, but we were only able to raise $165, which helped cover costs for his pain meds and x-rays, but not nearly enough for his surgery.  We are trying one again to appeal to animal lovers who may be able to help Bailey get closer to having the surgery he needs! At this point we're desperate because he's getting worse and he's very uncomfortable. 

Every dollar donated will make a difference to getting him closer to the surgery he must have.
