Bailey battle Leukemia

Hey there, I want to start by saying I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister and her family in hopes of raising funds to alleviate financial stress during this journey. On Thursday, July 14th, my niece Bailey was admitted to the hospital due to some strange symptoms that seemed to emerge out of the blue, only to be delivered the devastating news that her body was fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Immediately an action plan was set up, and Bailey is going to undergo chemotherapy every day for a year in hopes that she goes into remission. Initially, they had refuge at the Ronald McDonald house close to their hospital, but unfortunately, Bailey has now come down with a viral infection that prohibits her from staying in the home. As to not compromise other cancer patients. With two younger siblings at home, one of them being an infant, she is now having to stay in hotels to keep herself safe from others because her immune system is so weak. Due to this complication, my sister-in-law and her husband are splitting their time between all three babies, leaving no time for much else, including work.

Despite all of the cloudy skies, Bailey is the brightest star you will ever meet. She is creative, kind, and the best older sister you could imagine. She brings so much fun to her family and is the outspoken, most strong-willed girl you could ever meet. Yet, her spirits remain strong, and she is truly a rock for the family during all of this. Her positivity is contagious, and she continues to bring so much light to this world. If anyone can teach cancer a lesson, it is definitely Bailey!
