Bailey and Niki Need a New Home!

Hi, my name is Caiti and I’m friends and neighbors with Niki and Bailey Counselman. Just yesterday they lost their home to a tragic fire that took down their entire apartment building within our complex. No one was hurt which is amazing considering no fire alarms, smoke detectors, or sprinklers went off to help protect people and decrease the devastation of this blazing fire which destroyed 40 units with about 100 people impacted. An amazing human being from another building was fortunately heading to work, saw the fire, and took the time to bang on everyone’s doors to get them out safely.
Sadly they lost everything and have to start from scratch, rebuilding their little family’s life back together. The only things that Niki and Bailey have left from their home is a duffel bag of a few items they had with them on a road trip from over the weekend…only to come back to a tragedy. Niki was very fortunate to have an amazing human being go into her apartment after it was fenced up to retrieve only one item which was a painted portrait of her dad.
Not only did she lose everything, but she now has to personally finance obtaining a new place to live, set up new utilities, and furnish her new home as the apartment is not providing financial support. Every dollar would be much appreciated as she and Bailey go on this new adventure. Fortunately they are set up in a nice little hotel temporarily until they get things situated. Everyone is safe and that is what matters most.
