Bahoz Broosk - Repatriation and Funeral Fundraiser
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of a beloved son, brother, and friend, Bahoz Broosk.
Loved, admired, and respected by many, Bahoz was known for his generosity towards those in need and towards his community, for his drive to protect and promote Kurdish history and culture, and his incredibly witty and genuine character, among many more attributes.
On behalf of his family, his friends - alongside the Kurdish Cultural Center of Illinois - are fundraising to cover the heavy financial burden of repatriation and funeral expenses.
A donation of any amount is greatly appreciated as our wish is to minimize the worries, in any way possible, of his greatly devastated and grieving mother, father, and sisters.
Bahoz will be missed enormously by all of us who were lucky enough to know him, and even luckier to be his friend and colleague.
A special message from the Kurdish Cultural Center of Illinois:
"Bahoz has been an indispensable driving force behind the establishing of the KCCI. He had been a founding member and served as Vice President for many years. 'Dear friend, Bahoz, we all are very sorry to see you part us so early. You will be missed dearly.'"
