Bahir Dar - Madison Sister City

Hello, friends and friends of Ethiopia,

 

Madison-Bahir Dar Sister City Initiative is gathering donations for support of internally displaced persons due to the ongoing war in northern Ethiopia. Over 700,000 people in the region have been displaced and millions of people are in urgent need of assistance. The initiative is raising funds to help provide necessities and supplies for the war victims displaced from their homes and villages who took shelter in Bahir Dar, most of whom are women and children. Your donations will go 100% to provide support to the displaced persons through a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is tax-deductible.

የማዲሰን እና የባህርዳር እህትማማች ከተሞች ተነሻሺነት በሰሜን ኢትዮጲያ ባለው ጦርነት መንሰኤ የተፈናቀሉትን ወገኖች ለመርዳት እርዳታ እያሰባሰበ ይገኛል። በአካባቢው ከ 700 ሺ ሰዎች በላይ የተፈናቀሉ ሲሆን በሚሊዮን የሚቆጠሩ ሰዎች ደግሞ አስቸኳይ እርዳታ ያስፈልጋቸዋል። ተነሻሺነቱ በጦርነቱ ከቤታቸው እና ከቀዬአቸው ተፈናቅለው በባህርዳር ለተጠለሉት በአብዛኛው ሴቶች እና ሕጻናት የሆኑት ወገኖች መሰረታዊ እርዳታ እና አቅርቦት እንዲያገኙ የገንዘብ ማሰባሰብ እያደረገ ይገኛል። ለዚህ በጎ ተግባር የሚለግሱት ገንዘብ መቶ ፕርሰንት በአሜሪካን የአገር ውስጥ ገቢ ሕግ አንቀጽ 501(c)(3) መሰረት በተቋቋመ ለትርፍ ባልሆነ ድርጅት በኩል የተፈናቀሉትን ወገኖች ለመርዳት የሚውል ሲሆን ግብር ከሚከፍሉት ገቢዎ ላይም ተቀናሽ ይሆናል።
