We are an independent free online educational and social platform, set up to improve the language skills of Moluccans across Indonesia and deliver our online classes via Zoom.
As a Community Interest Company (CIC), we work with volunteer tutors across the globe, who are keen to share their skills, knowledge and experience, which were gained in the industry and academic world. What connects us with Maluku is not only our Moluccan culture and heritage, but also our interest and love for the islands.
Our tutors are native or fluent speakers in either English, Dutch, German, French, Russian, Wemale and Alune languages and teach a variety of subjects at different levels. We offer beginner and intermediate conversational classes, but also improver and IELTS preparation classes for students and professionals.
Furthermore, as a registered tutor, you can learn Bahasa Indonesia for free. If you have any queries about other languages, do get in touch and we will try to connect you with the right tutor. Contact us now and become a student in one of our virtual classrooms.
In February 2024 we opened the first, and only, English language cafe in Lateri area, Ambon. This is a safe place for people to practice their English no matter what their level of fluency. We hope this cafe will be the hub for those who want to improve their English.
With your donations we are able to buy e.g. Wifi stations, laptops and mobile phones to increase the access of e-learning in different villages. The funds will also be used to sponsor the logistics of English students to teach physically at schools in Ambon (to start with). And this will also enable us to continue sending book donations worldwide to Maluku.
