Nicole came into my family's life over 20 years ago, when my brother made several Bahamian friends through his college life.  On my first vacation to the Bahamas with my brother, Brandon(Boatdock), I quickly learned why he loved Grand Bahama and the people that lived there.  My introduction to our 'sister', Nicole, was led with a big hug and infectious smile.  I quickly learned that the term "family" had a much broader meaning than I fully comprehended.  Her bubbly, loving personality was truly contagious, and I knew she was special.
Fast forward almost ten years...Nicole is a single mother of two, who would give you the shirt off of her back.  Now, Nicole, Jada(15) and Logan(11) have nothing but the clothes on their backs.  Hurricane Dorian has destroyed every aspect of their lives, other than their compassionate love for their home island, family, and friends....and they need our help.
We are asking all that are able to consider donating to helping this family get back on their feet.  This storm has destroyed their lives, but with our help it won't destroy their spirit.  Thank you.
