I am raising funds on behalf of my good friend Bahaa Nasser who is attempting to sustain his family with what limited resources remain in North Gaza.

Dear friends and kind hearts around the world, I am Bahaa Nasser, a son and brother in a family torn apart by the horrors of relentless war. Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart with a sadness so deep, it is unbearable. I never imagined a day when I would have to ask for help, but the harsh ups and downs of life and the situation we have found have brought me to this humbling moment.

Before the war, our lives were modest but full of joy. We lived in a beautiful house, built with love by my father. It was more than just a structure. It was a nest of love and laughter, where our beautiful laughter echoed, creating a melody that defined our existence. Then, in a heartbeat, everything changed. October 7th was the day our world collapsed – our beautiful homeland, our peace, and our dignity were torn apart by the brutal hands of war. The war not only demolished our walls, it also destroyed the foundation of our future. Places of learning, now in ruins. And in the midst of this devastation. My family, of 9 people who were once surrounded by comfort and warmth, now face cold nights filled with the fear of bombs. We have been uprooted, forced to flee to more than one shelter in northern Gaza, and every day we fight a battle against the despair that clings to us like a shadow.

I find myself immersed in anger fueled by the injustices that have silenced our calls for peace, and by the world’s indifference to our suffering. My pride, once a source of strength, was crushed under the weight of my family’s plight - their shivering bodies, their agonized cries of hunger, their eyes wide with fear of an uncertain future.
