Two years ago, the Bagwells literally sold everything they owned and picked up and moved to Bangalore India to join Daughters of Hope in saving lives.

They've given up their own lives to offer hope for women and children who have none. These women are abused physically and emotionally and are trying to care for their children without jobs, income, food, or any hope at a normal life. Daughters of Hope offers them just that--Hope.

Since Lane and Cy have been there, they've helped cultivate a place of safety, intergrity, and joy. They train the women in a craft, pay them well, and offer free childcare and food throughout the week. In the past year, Lane and Cy have helped build a new program that offers training for young girls who might otherwise have been sold into sex slavery.


Through all of this the women and children are introduced to the message of Jesus and His undying love for them. The women are offered a time to share their grief and are encouraged through counseling and prayer. Lives are being changed daily, but a new year has come, and funds are tight. Less and less people are giving to this cause.

We are trying to surprise Lane and Cy with a check from her family and friends across the world and present it to them on May 9th, 2015, where we will be hosting a benefit concert that will raise awareness and support for the Bagwells. More than anything, I would like this all to be a surprise, where she can walk in with no expectations and leave for India knowing she is fully loved and supported by her family and friends.
