Our Interplast Australia & New Zealand team of two nurses, two anaesthetists and two surgeons has been doing a two week program at the Benguet General Hospital, Baguio in the Philippines over the past seventeen years.

We typically perform 60 - 70 procedures on 50 - 60 children. Cleft lip and cleft palate along with reconstruction of burns are our most common operations.

Unfortunately, consequent upon the rising costs of programs to the Philippines and the challenge of distributing the Interplast dollar as broadly as possible around the Pacific programs, our team will not receive adequate funding for 2026. We are very much aware of the ongoing need for our program to return as are our partners in Baguio.

If you are able to contribute to this great cause we will eagerly go forth and repair those bodies so they can rebuild their lives.
