Bagheera's Emergency Vet Surgery


Hello my name is Chris and this photo is of a neighboorhood outdoor cat with no claimed owner.  We recently moved into the neighborhood and found him on our doorstep cold and hungry.  After a warm bed and few meals he has been coming back to our house every night for the cold months.  We named him Baggy (short for Bagheera from the jungle book) and he has no microchip pointing him to a home. He seems to have chosen us as his family.

Tonight we had to rush him to the emergency vet after finding him hit by a car. He is in really bad shape and vet bills are starting to add up.  We had to put a deposit of $3,700 down and his bill looks like it will exceed $8000.  His skull has fractures, his jaw is broken and his legs may be broken also. I am writing this go fund me as we sit at the vet. We have grown attached to this cat and are doing everything in our power to save him.  We took out a vet credit loan of a $1,000 and we are transferring all of our savings just to meet the required deposit for the vet to keep him over night and monitor.  We really need help to save this sweetheart and anything donated will help no matter how small.
