John recently underwent surgery to correct a BAD case of sagittal craniosynostosis.
John, despite all the trials he has faced, is still always ready to give a hug or a smile.
He loves to run around at the park, even if his balance is less than perfect.
Usually, cranio is diagnosed much earlier in infants; however, John was diagnosed with cranio very late due to not having access to the medical personnel he desperately needed.
This resulted in seizures, developmental delays, poor motor skills, and other problems.
We had to wait nearly a year to see a cranial specialist who could correctly diagnose John.
When we finally got John the help he needed, the problems were getting worse and worse; his seizures were so severe he would stop breathing, and he had become completely nonverbal.
The procedures and medications necessary to help John are numerous and costly.
ANY help we receive to help our baby boy would be greatly appreciated.
