Baer Family Devastated by Hurricane Ian

Hi, my name is Susan Kienzle-Mayes, and I live in Steamboat Springs, CO.

My dear friend Jean Baer, long-time Sanibel, FL resident and summer Steamboat Springs resident, her husband Denny and sons, have sustained unbelievable losses when Hurricane Ian hit.

Their Sanibel home sustained extensive damage. Their two sons, Trevor and Tyler, who lived in Ft Myers, lost their homes too. They will need to salvage what they can, repair what is reusable, and replace everything else. Any funds raised will be used solely for these purposes.

I met Jean in 2010 when she generously taught my husband, Jay, and me to play pickleball. I've known her as a selfless and giving person ever since. She loves Steamboat and resides here from June through September each year. And she cherishes her beloved home on Sanibel, where she and her family have lived since the 1980s.

She is the first to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it and the last to say "I'm too busy" when her communities need her.

Please help Jean, Denny, Tyler and Trevor in any way you can. No amount is too small.
