Our friend Baek ran into an unexpected injury during a community soccer match that left his wrist needing immediate surgery.
The surgery was a success, however because Baek is from overseas and doesn't have insurance or medicare he has to pay for the time he spent in hospital in full. This includes the time he spent there and all that was required to perform the operation. 

The hospital has given Baek 14 days from his invoice date (19th Sep) to pay the amount due and we are hoping that a payment plan can be organized but we don't know how successful we will be in being able to get a plan.

We as a soccer team want to help in supporting Baek during this crisis, as Australians we are thankful to be able to have medicare but it goes to show that not everyone that is in Australia has the same benefit. We want to be able to help Baek overcome this and we need your help to do it.
