Hello my name is Nicky Ralph and I am asking for support and sponsorship to achieve a goal I never thought would be possible. I have qualified for the second time to compete at The Badminton Grassroots Championships 2025.

The 2024 event season was incredible and finishing second at Bicton 3day event secured our qualification.

In 2024 a dream came true and I was incredibly lucky enough to compete at Badminton Grassroots Championships. The cover photo shows just how much it meant to me.

Ces my wonderful horse answered every question and in the videos you can see he makes it look easy.

We finished 28th out of 116 starters. Having a double clear at Badminton was unthinkable. It was only 3 years previously I was Cross Country schooling and couldn't jump a log on the floor without being paralysed by fear. With the help of amazing instructors, family and friends I have found my confidence and the love of Eventing.

Badminton was made possible for me by gorgeous boy Ces. Peter bought him as a very angry 3yr old for £275 from Exeter Market. Peter always said that Ces would get to Badminton. Throughout Ces was kind gentle and brave. Peter was with me every stride. I had the very best team. They were incredible, supportive, kind, firm, great fun, and professional. I owe them everything.

The support I received was mind blowing. A huge thanks for all of you who supported me on my previous GoFundMe page. Without your generosity I simply wouldn't of been able to go.

I'm asking for sponsorship to cover costs such as entry fees, training sessions, lorry running costs, and arena hire. I work incredibly hard to fund my passion, and work as many extra hours as I can. Working full time on the front line Ambulances is challenging but worth it as it allows me to fulfill my love of horses and eventing.

I proved to myself that however scared I am I can achieve anything and I'm more prepared than ever to go to Badminton and compete.
