Badger's Mission Trip to Dukana, Kenya

Hello, my name is Badger Ewins. As I go into my year off before starting university in September 2022, I have felt God calling me to serve him. After a lengthy process, I have been invited to go to Dukana in Northern Kenya for six months from January 2022. I will be going with a Charity called Africa Inland Mission (AIM) to serve with a family of missionaries called the Andersens who have been living in Dukana for seven years.

While in Kenya I will be serving with the Andersens and local people in Dukana in various ways. These will include teaching at a primary school, assisting with church services and Bible studies, and helping at a garage and radio station which support local people.

The mission trip is expected to cost £5,200 of which I have already raised £2,500 by working as a cricket coach. It is my goal to raise the remaining £2,700 through continuing to work and by raising donations from my friends, family, and the church community.

Before I depart for Kenya at the start of next year, I am also hoping to gather prayer supporters. I will keep those who are interested in this mission updated by sending home regular emails detailing what I am doing and how the trip is going.
