Bad Teeth equals No Words Out plus No Money In

I'm just going to let Cait do the "talking" for this one, as I handled the pet emergencies.

"If you've been following my LiveJournal over the past year, you'll already be aware that I've recently been ill due to several very bad teeth and associated health issues. Increasingly, this led to a difficulty writing, and by late summer my productivity had crashed. No words out, no money in. On top of this, between October and December we had to deal with the sudden emotional and financial turmoil of two very sick pets, one of whom died on Christmas. It was not until February that I was finally able to see a dentist, and by then it had been months since I'd received any significant income from my writing. We've struggled to make up the difference with our Dreaming Squid Sundries shop at Big Cartel, but fallen short. So, reluctantly Kathryn and I are asking for help in order to cover the rent over the next three months while I get caught up on overdue writing projects and money begins trickling in once more. Currently, as I recover (and, turns out, that's not happening overnight), I'm finishing the editing for a new short-story collection, Bright Dead Star, plus I'm about halfway through a novel, The Night Watchers, and trying to catch up on overdue issues of Sirenia Digest. It's just a matter of getting through the next few months. Anything you can spare is enormously appreciated. At this point, the past year has exhausted pretty much all our resources. Thank you."
