Our little puppydog, Basil, was just brought into the ER for unexplained anaphylactic shock. One quiet evening in the PCC music lab, she was suddenly unconscious, in a puddle of vomit; gums sickly white and heart hardly beating.
Basil is Dorian's (pictured) beloved seizure detecting dog, and has saved her life countless times.
The good news is that, thanks to very good luck and caring friends... she survived!
But—as is often the case when it comes to veterinary bills in the U.S.A, we are now left in unmanageable debt.
Dorian (pictured) is on Social Security and doesn't have disposable income to take on even half, and I just emptied my own savings and had to borrow $3.5k in order to pay the upfront bills.
We're not expecting to raise the full amount (about $6k), but any amount that we can raise will seriously help in paying it off, and covering next month's rent.
Much love from Comrade Basil, "Puppydog of Peace"
