Many public schools do not have equal access to the resources that make learning engaging and hands-on. Programs like computer science, engineering, art, and other creative electives often depend on limited school budgets, grants, or teachers finding outside support for materials.

Through our game design competition "The Worst Game Jam " we are raising money to help local schools meet some of those needs. We are especially looking to support schools and classrooms where additional funding can make a direct difference, whether that means technology, classroom materials, supplies for a specific program, or resources for students who may not otherwise have access to them.

Our initial goal is $1,200. If we raise beyond that amount, we hope to support additional classrooms, programs, or schools. Currently, we are working with two schools to help fund their Robotics departments.

This fundraiser is being organized through our high school Game Design Club alongside The Worst Game Jam, but the purpose is simple: using something our club enjoys doing to help give other students access to more opportunities and resources.
