Bad Bri’s road to recovery

My name is Sonia and I am Brian’s little sister and we are looking for some help for my brother Brian!

As anyone that has had the pleasure to meet my brother Brian will know that he is not only one of the hardest working men you will know but he is also one of the best kinds of man to know. Brian is the man that if something is broken, he is there, if you want financial advice he will navigate it with you, he will give you anything to help make your day or life just a little better with the least expense possible.

Brian started working when he was 14 years old at a gas station and worked his way through Italian restaurants and Hotel MacDonald and eventually was very successful in his Tile Business Gecko tile and real estate always busy working and supporting friends and family any way that he could. Brian has even spent time across the world in Brazil, Australia and Europe, working and making friends that have actually come to Albert and he lets them stay and takes care of them.

This past year has been a turn unfortunately for Brian, he has worked his whole life with some medical hold backs but managed them, and this year unfortunately they took a turn for the worst and Brian had received a diagnosis that he needed a Liver Transplant. This is a big set back for him as this was surgeries and a long wait up to the transplant which has left him very tired and weak and not able to work like he has his whole life. Brian has spent the last year going to many appointments and resting the best he could but leaving him not able to continue doing the level of work he needed to do to meet his needs. Brian received a new Liver in February 2/24 and the liver has taken, but then a little set back they had to go in again for another surgery.

Brian has a long road to recovery and with his constant contributions to everyone else Brian has left himself behind and has a very old bed at home. With the surgery he is in desperate need of a bed that lifts and has good supports for him to get the proper rest for the road to recovery. We are hoping to get some help with purchasing a new bed for Brian and have it delivered and set up for him when he returns home, so if anyone would be willing to help us out in raising the funds for this it would be so grateful in his road to recovery.
