Save the Bad Axe Theatre – Help Keep the Movies Alive in Our Community!
Dear Friends,
Since 2020, independent theaters like ours have faced challenges we never imagined. The COVID shutdown hit us hard, and while we’ve worked tirelessly to reopen and keep serving the community, the past few years have stretched us thin.
The Bad Axe Theatre isn’t just a place to see movies—it’s where families have laughed together, where kids have felt the magic of the big screen for the first time, and where friends have shared countless memories. It’s a piece of our town’s history, and we want to make sure it’s part of our future too.
But we can’t do it alone. We’re asking for your help to raise $80,000 to cover essential operating costs and improvements that will allow us to keep the doors open. Your support will help us:
• Keep the screens lit and the projectors rolling
• Support our staff and community programming
• Expand events like retro movie nights, live-streamed sports, and family matinees.
Every donation, large or small, makes a difference. Together, we can keep the Bad Axe Theatre thriving for years to come.
Thank you for being part of this story. Let’s keep the marquee glowing in Bad Axe!
With gratitude,
