Bad accident changed my life. Need help

My fiancé did this post for me. I didn’t want her to do it on her account as it seems more genuine this way coming from me.

My name is Mark and I had a bad accident at the end of September. I was Helping a friend one day on a small balcony that collapsed while I was on it and It hit both of my legs on the way down. I was in the hospital for 6 weeks and I have had 11 surgical procedures. I have since been in ongoing treatment. I have broken both legs and my ankle on one side. I have a leg filled with metal. I have not been able to do much and I need to get back on my feet ( no pun intended) and be able to pay necessary life things. Right now anything you can help with will all be going to bills and necessities. I am just trying to get by so I can get back to work without becoming homeless or with nothing. This is not something I would normally do. But for once I need to ask for the help. All money will go to bills, food, rent and things for my recovery.
