Brian A. Crockett Scholarship Fund

As we enter into the third year without Brian's physical presence, we know for sure that his light continues to shine. Each year, we are planning to pay it forward in providing much needed scholarships for those high school seniors attending college, preferably participating in an athletic program.

Brian A. Crockett was known as much for his effervescent personality as his football prowess. An offensive lineman at St. Mary High School in Rutherford and Colgate University, Brian answered to "Bubblez." Brian lit up the room. He was one of those guys who'd walk in with a big smile, clap his hands and motivate everyone to work hard. He was always in awe of the opportunity to go to college on a football scholarship, which he did, with a lot of hard work. Brian also wrestled for St. Mary and worked hard in the classroom, pulling a 3.9 grade-point average.
At Colgate, he majored in educational studies and played football all four years, wearing No. 72 at offensive left guard. He was named to the All-Patriot League first team; Colgate won the league championship that season. Each year, Brian returned to St. Mary to work with its upcoming and aspiring athletes.
Brian was the youngest faculty member, teaching History, at Williston Northampton Prep School. The kids gravitated to him, and he connected to them so well, with that big smile and personality.
