I have for a long time known I do not want kids, and in my process of deciding what route to go, we discovered that I have very early stage (0) cancers cells on my cervix. So I have decided to get a hysterectomy to remove my cervix and uterus, you can't have cervical cancer if you don't have one, and also solve the issue of not wanting children. The recovery from this surgery will be a minimum of 6 weeks, so I won't be able to work. In my profession, as a bartender/server, the avalaible disability is so little it won't cover my bills. I am reaching out to all my friends and family to help me in any way possible. This is hard to do because I really wanted to be able to make it on my own without asking for help, but many have told that I shouldn't be afraid to ask....so here I am!
