Backup Bethie

My dear sister-in-law, Beth Madsen, has been plagued with chronic back pain for over 20 years.  She has had several injections and one surgical procedure, a laminectomy, but continues to suffer with unbearable pain.  It has reached such a severe level that she is unable to carry out the duties required of her job and had to temporarily quit working.  Although she will be receiving unemployment benefits, she does not receive any sick leave benefits.  Hopefully an upcoming surgical procedure, a lumbar fusion, will provide the necessary healing for Beth to not only resume working but to live a life free of her dehabilitating pain.  That surgical procedure is scheduled for November 15th and requires a six week leave of absence from her job with limited, light duty for another three months.  
     Many years ago when my first husband, her brother, was terminally ill, we were the recipients of many acts of kindness.  In fact, so many that I will never be able to repay them  but  here is an opportunity for me to pay it forward.  Beth was reluctant to accept my desire to help her in this way but when I explained the fact that I would like her to have the ability to devote her mind to healing her body without the added the added worries of finances, she agreed to this campaign.  Any funds raised from this campaign will be used to pay her house and utility payments, as well as any medical bills not covered under her medical plan.  If you could support Beth’s GoFundMe by making a donation and then sharing it with your network, I would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you!
