This is Pia & Asger - a mother and a son in dire need of your help - and they are not any mother and son, ….they are my wife and son.

We used to travel and lead a normal life with dreams and hopes for the future.

The diagnosis

After years of unexplained symptoms, I have witnessed them highly disciplined with daily training and optimizing every aspect of their lives to stay functional. However, the disease kept progressing and they both got diagnosed with the dreaded diagnosis of cranio-cervical instability. Sickness is always hard, but cranio-cervical instability is devastating to endure and for me to watch.

I have witnessed my wife go from a fit, active woman with her own company to someone I have had to keep alive at home. Asger has not attended school now for years and spent all his time at home, isolated from peers.

Hope

Thankfully there is help for this dreadful disease. In New York one of the world's most experienced neurosurgeon has accepted both Asgers and Pias' cases.

Our small family funds the majority of the treatments ourselves but is still short.
