Hi, my name is Linda, I urgently need help with funding for my Frenchie, her back went on her and the vet wants her to rest for 6-8 weeks in a dog crate, medicated to ensure rest and restricted movement. After hydrotherapy. This is the experience part.

Have received $1000 grant gone to vet account but more is needed for her recovery.

Need to get her all strong and build up her back leg muscles.

This was caused by the original owner who bred her knowing that she had the genetic disorder and therefore excelerating her back to go on her in a shorter time. She was then passed on and attacked and had her ear ripped with no vet care given, she was passed onto another person who was unable to keep her but thought of me, knowing my love of animals... Had her for a few months and then that's when her back went on her and at the vet that's when found out everything, vet was extremely pissed especially after seeing x-rays, he kept repeating 'they knew, they knew' This all happened before she turned 4yrs old...

Been reported to the RSPCA and investigation underway...

I know that it's expensive she needs to try this first, it's not fair on her, she didn't ask to be used for breeding/being bred knowing that she shouldn't be, passed on to be bred again and attacked no medical attention given, passed on again and then given a loving home with me... Just about to get her desexed this happened....

She has popped several disk's between the spine and is bone on bone. Manages movement with front legs able to walk and get around back are wobbly, needs to be limited in moving.

I need this so much she's bonded so closely and finally relaxed after all the abuse she's copped in her short life, she doesn't deserve to be put to sleep at this age because of some persons greed and abuse...

Funds will be sent to Kensington Specialist for the surgery and physio plus medication.

It will be put into an account set up for her only via Vetpay so I can access the money at my vet for eg medication, x-rays, repeat appointment with specialist for eg review/see how surgery went.

She's my support/companion pet and knows when I'm not well and when my epilepsy and PTSD, anxiety, depression and severe stress levels are affecting me making me feel upset, low she's always been there for me making me feel better...

Now all my worry is on her and she knows and trys to drag herself closer for a cuddle...

Her buddy Jacob, cat, misses playing with her and giving her cat head butts and grooming, both don't understand why can't move. He sleeps with her to try and comfort her...
