Every child deserves to walk into school prepared. But in many communities across Sierra Leone, families are doing their best and still can’t afford basic supplies like notebooks, pencils, and pens.

This year, in celebration of Develop Africa’s 20th Anniversary, we are launching a special Backpacks for Bright Futures campaign with a meaningful goal:

200 students supported in honor of 20 years of impact.

Through this initiative, we will provide students with essential school supplies and tuition support so they can start the school year ready to learn, grow, and succeed.

How You Can Make an Impact

$50 sponsors one elementary-aged student

$75 sponsors one junior high or high school student

$250 ships a drum full of filled backpacks to Sierra Leone
