Help Us Compete at Collegiate Bass Championship

My name is Jacob, and together with my teammate Joah, we’re chasing a dream that means the world to us, competing in the National Championship for collegiate bass fishing. Joah is not only a talented young angler who has competed nationwide, but also an excellent young man. I’m a US Army veteran who has always loved bass fishing, and Joah and I met through our school’s bass fishing club. Since then, we’ve become a team both on and off the water. We both maintain high GPAs, are involved in multiple honor societies, and serve in Student Government, showing our commitment to our school and community.

Getting to this point hasn’t been easy. Our school’s athletics department doesn’t support our national championship hopes, so we’ve had to self-fund every tournament we’ve entered. We even presented a proposal for funding but were turned down by the athletic director, who wanted no involvement. That means every trip, every entry fee, and every expense has come out of our own pockets. Now, with the National Championship in Alabama on the horizon, we’re facing our biggest challenge yet, covering the costs to represent our school and compete against the best collegiate anglers in the country.

The funds we raise will go directly toward two team jerseys, two team hoodies, gas and oil for Joah’s boat, travel expenses using my truck, six days of lodging, food, and any other costs that come up along the way. Your support isn’t just helping us get to Alabama, it’s giving two dedicated students the chance to compete on a national stage and show what hard work and determination can achieve.
