Hello! My name is Sara Costa e Silva Santana and I am a junior studying creative writing at Stephen F. Austin State University.

I am a young writer who aspires to become a successful author in the future. I mostly read and write a lot of fantasy novels, but I enjoy poetry as well. When I write, I try to incorporate aspects of Brazilian culture---whether it is through world-building, character names or added words in Portuguese. You can find a bit of my work in SFA's literary journal HUMID 18 and the Periphery Journal 62.

Part of my journey in pursuit of my dream is learning and polishing my creative work in college, which I am only a year away from graduating :) ! As this spring semester moves on, I have run into financial challenges that keep me from being able to afford tuition.
