Help Us Care for 21 New Rescues in Need — Including 8 Senior Bearded Dragons
At Rural Reptiles, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, educate and rehome reptiles that are injured, abandoned, or no longer wanted. We strive to give these misunderstood animals a second chance at life—no matter their age, species, or condition.
We recently took in 21 surrendered reptiles—a large and unexpected intake for our small, volunteer-run rescue. Among them are 8 senior bearded dragons, many of whom arrived in poor health, suffering from neglect, malnutrition, and lack of proper medical care and mites. They need specialized diets, ongoing veterinary attention, and warm, clean housing to recover.
We’re asking for your help to provide the urgent care these animals need.
Your donations will directly support:
Medical treatment and vet bills for these seniors, as well as the our other residents with ongoing medical treatments.
Nutritional food, supplements, and hydration support
Clean, species-appropriate enclosures and heating elements
Sanitation and long-term housing needs for current and incoming animals
We are deeply committed to giving these animals a fighting chance—but we cannot do it without the generosity of people like you.
Whether you give $5 or $50, every dollar makes a real difference in the lives of these reptiles. Please help us continue to offer care, comfort, and compassion to creatures too often overlooked.
Thank you for standing with us and supporting Rural Reptiles.
