My name is Benoit Elias-Roberge, and I wrote Heritage as a love letter to my ever-supporting family. Being far away from those you love, it can sometimes become hard to show them just how you feel in a way that's more than just words. To me, this is my way of showing my parents and my sister just how important they are to not only my art but also my life.

What's more is that it's a thank you to the community surrounding the bar featured within this film. Bravest is a place that's close to many, many hearts, and I hope this film helps show just how much we care about it.

The story follows two siblings as they reunite with their father during a celebration of life after the loss of their family's bar. The two have lived through their grief on separate paths, but the time has finally come for them to reunite.

This film is not only a passion project for myself and many others, but it's also a stepping stone in the start of our post-graduate careers. We all hope to create art for the rest of our lives, and the support for this project will help fuel that drive.
