Bobby is a devoted father of three—Isabella, Caydin, and Linayah—and everything he does is for his family. He works tirelessly to keep a roof over his mom’s head, support his cousin Lily, and make sure his children always have a home to come to when they visit. At home, his loyal dogs Bugsy and Zeena are never far from his side.

Bobby has always taken pride in being a hard worker. He specializes in custom electrical work—building control panels, running cabling, and working with high-end technology. He’s never been someone who makes excuses or misses work. Until this year.

For the first time in his life, Bobby has had to miss nearly a year now of work due to serious health complications. That has been one of the hardest realities for someone whose identity is built on strength, responsibility, and showing up.

In 2010, Bobby had his thyroid removed and has lived with hypothyroidism ever since. In recent years, he developed hyperparathyroidism and hypercalcemia, leading to additional surgery earlier this year. Now, he is facing metastatic thyroid cancer, with nodules in his lungs.

Despite everything, Bobby hasn’t stopped fighting. He’s completely changed his lifestyle—cutting out sugar, fasting, eating clean, and starting early morning workouts to strengthen his body for what’s ahead. No matter how many times he’s been knocked down, he keeps getting back up.

He now has the opportunity to attend a three-week treatment program at a specialized clinic in Winnipeg that could significantly improve his chances. Unfortunately, this treatment is not fully covered, and the total cost—including treatment, travel, and time off work—is estimated between $10,000 and $15,000.
