Many of you will know Michael, and the gallery he has built in the heart of Marylebone for over 40 years. a space that has become synonymous with thoughtful curation, conversation, and a genuine sense of community. It’s important independent shops stay in London.

*** The Situation***

Over the past year, Michael has faced lymphoma for the second time, undergoing intensive chemotherapy treatment and a stem cell transplant.

Now, having come through this, he is now working to get back to full strength, and ready to return to the gallery with renewed energy and vision.

As a community, we have an opportunity not just to support his return, but to help take the gallery forward into its next chapter. This will involve renovations. With your help, our aim is to bring the Gallery back to life!

***The Vision***

This is about more than reopening.

It’s about restoring and elevating the space, ensuring it reflects the quality, creativity, and ambition that Michael brings to his work. This will subsequently attract additional reputable new artists.

To do that, the gallery requires a full refurbishment:

• Floors and walls throughout

• Toilets fully renovated

• Shopfront restored and refreshed

• Side space reimagined

• Downstairs areas improved and properly finished

With the right support, this can be transformed into something even more special than before.
